ingredients:
- 400 g flour .
- 1 cup of sugar.
- 200 ml of milk.
- 2 egg yuk.
- 200 g of butter.
- 2 tbsps yeast.
- little of salt.
- 50 g of sesame seeds.
- 100 g of raisins.
- 50 g of nuts.
How to make it:
- Melt the butter with milk, let the milk to cool a little bit ,then add yeast.
- Let yeast ,let yeast with milk about 5 minutes then give them a quick little mix.
- Add salt , sugar and egg yolk and mix them very well.
- Start adding flour and keep mixing.
- Place the dough in your working place and knead it with your palms about 5 minutes.
- Put the dough into a bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.
- Let the dough to rise about 40 minutes until double the volume.
- Spread the dough with your rolling pin making form of rectangle .
- Brush the dough with some melted butter.
- Spread raisins and nuts over the dough and roll it.
- Brush the end of the dough with some egg yolk ,then finish rolling. that should help it to stick.
- Cut the dough about one inch and place it into the baking tray.
- Let the brioches to rise again about 30 minutes before baking them.
- Preheat the oven then brush the brioches gently with egg wash.
- Sprinkle over them some sesame seeds.
- Put the brioches into the oven about 20 minutes until become golden brown.
